What does the Shroud do in Stellaris? ›

Upon completion, the Shroud will be added to the Contacts menu from where it can be entered to interact with the innumerable psionic entities native to it, following visions from both within and without the Galaxy to reach either a positive or negative outcome.

Before players can enter the Shroud, they'll first need to complete the Breach the Shroud Tradition in the Psionic Ascension Path. This isn't an easy Stellaris Tradition to reach, as it in turn requires players to have completed the Mind Over Matter Ascension Perk or Psionic Theory Technology.

Once completed, the Shroud will be added to the Contacts menu from where it can be entered, but this can only be done every 5 in-game years and at the cost of 1000 energy credits each time. Acquiring the Psionic Archive Relic can reduce this wait time to 2.5 years, allowing the Shroud to be entered twice as often.

The Shroud is a realm of pure psionic energy from where psionic species and individuals draw their power, and a place where those who awakened their psionic potential could see in their dreams. The realm is inhabited by powerful beings of pure psionic energy that can be communed with through great effort.

Once you initiate the mission, the Salarian Dalatrass will tell Shepard that the Shroud was sabotaged in the past to prevent a cure from being released. She will also offer Shepard an ultimatum. If Shepard sabotages the cure, she will give them Salarian support and war assets in the war against the Reapers.

Shroud usually refers to an item, such as a cloth, that covers or protects some other object.

This quest can be started either by checking with Wilhelm in the Vilemyr Inn or just exploring Shroud Hearth Barrow. The town of Ivarstead has been haunted by a ghost from Shroud Hearth Barrow. Though the ghost never comes into town, the townsfolk would be grateful if the Dragonborn investigated the barrow.

A secret fealty means they switch their alligance over to you and will support you if a war breaks out. Them declaring war on their overlord means they are fighting for their liberation and dont want to be a vasall at all, so it makes no sense to involve you in that, you would be just another "master".

There's only a single chance for the Awakened Empires to declare a War in Heaven, 2 years after the second empire's awakening. If they dont go to war against each other 2 years after both have awakened, then the War is NOT going to happen.

2500 is considered endgame, but its not technically over until the endgame crisis around that time point is defeated. End game crisis can start as soon as 2400 by default. Totally conquering the galaxy and by eliminating all other empires ends the game for me.

The Toxic God is extremely powerful and one of the toughest Guardian creatures to be added to the game. While it has no armor, its shield and hull more than make up for it, so kinetic weapons should be used to bring down the shield as quickly as possible.

While some motorists remove the plastic cover, it serves several purposes. Plastic engine covers reduce noise, contain wires, promote a cleaner hood, and they look like.

A creature with shroud cannot be the target of any spell or ability — including yours! No combat tricks, no enchantments, no equipping — nothing! If a permanent gains shroud, any other permanents that were previously attached to it or affecting it will still apply.

Shroud only stops a permanent from being targeted by something. You can still sacrifice ir or be made to sacrifice it so long as the effect doesn't target it.
