The intelligent AI Assistant
Anyone working with the Moleanalyzer pro AI assistant will experience a new dimension in skin checks. The specificity and sensitivity are impressive, as proven by numerous studies.
Together with the Bodyscan master software feature, the Moleanalyzer pro unleashes the full potential of FotoFinder artificial intelligence. The Total Body Dermoscopy workflow reduces the examination time for patients with multiple lesions to a minimum.
Clinically proven in multiple trials
FotoFinder AI inspires you in multiple ways and combines artificial intelligence and your experience. For the pre-assessment of skin lesions, you'll have access to extensive analysis and comparison functions as well as the powerful deep-learning algorithm — evaluated and validated in numerous clinical studies (e.g., “Man against machine”, “Man against machine reloaded” and others, University of Heidelberg). In addition, you'll have access to the FotoFinder Second Opinion Service.
New Classifier helps to Distinguish
The new classifier supports your decision to distinguish melanocytic from non-melanocytic lesions. This pre-assessment score can be of great value in combination with the benign-malignant score. In particular, it could be a good indication for users to understand the level of urgency in specific cases. A lesion that is having a red score while also having been classified as melanocytic might indicate a higher priority.
AI Scoring with Heatmap
FotoFinder artificial intelligence (AI) classifies a skin lesion with an AI score on a color scale. A so-called heatmap can also be displayed for the lesion in Moleanalyzer pro (online version).
The heatmap uses different colors to visualize which areas of the lesion were decisive for the calculation of the AI score. “Hot” image pixels, which are most crucial for the resulting AI score, are displayed in red hues. Pixels that are less important for the AI score and therefore “cold” are shown in bluish tones.
It is important to check the location of hot pixels. If red pixels are located outside the lesion (e.g., on image artifacts such as air bubbles, skin markings or tattoos), the calculated AI Score should be interpreted with increased caution.
The heatmap view helps to understand how the AI arrives at its score and whether possible confounding factors in the image affect the result.
Analysis & Segmentation
Moleanalyzer pro visualizes colors, borders, symmetry axes, structure and lesion network.
You can also view the images in gray-scale mode. Get detailed information on all parameters and indicates size, perimeter and diameter of a lesion.
Image Comparison
Certain lesions may have a lack of obvious clues that allow for a clear, ad hoc assessment based on dermoscopic images. This is where the integrated comparison feature is helpful, which crossfades follow-up images and thus makes changes clearly visible.
Moleanalyzer pro quantifies the percentage change of area, perimeter and diameter.
Lesion Evaluation
The evaluation according to either one or several proven methodologies allows a pre-assessment of lesions. Moleanalyzer pro enables an evaluation using the 3-point checklist, the 7-point checklist, or the ABCD rule.
Create a report with just a few clicks, and be abel to hand it to your patient.
Second Opinion Service
Use the optional FotoFinder Second Opinion Service and get support in the evaluation of lesions. Via an account in the FotoFinder Hub online platform, renown dermoscopists give you diagnoses and differential diagnosis within 24 hours and the opinion is displayed right hand side in your Moleanalyzer pro software.
Results can be printed as PDF files or on paper.

With the FotoFinder Moleanalyzer pro with AI, I can offer my patients the most modern way of skin cancer screening - and they are impressed by what is possible these days. The Moleanalyzer pro gives me additional confidence in deciding whether a lesion should be excised or not. And I find it exciting that the increasing size of the database makes the score more and more reliable. We have been using AI since May 2019. Currently, the results are impressive.
